Welcome to MoonLane! These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the rules and regulations for using the MoonLane platform, a free, community-driven hub for discovering, sharing, and celebrating AI-generated prompts across image, video, website, and component categories. By accessing or using MoonLane in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading content, interacting with other users, or simply browsing MoonLane, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use MoonLane. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features (including uploading prompts, saving content, liking prompts, leaving comments, and following other creators), you must register for an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring your profile information (username, avatar) is accurate and not misleading.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Platform Features & Permitted Use

MoonLane provides the following core features, each subject to these Terms:

• Explore: Browse thousands of AI prompts across Image, Video, Website, and Component categories.
• Upload Prompts: Share your best AI prompts with the community, complete with example outputs, model tags (e.g., GPT Image, Midjourney, Nanobanana, Google Veo, Gemini Omni, Seed Dance, Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, and more), style metadata, and category assignments.
• Collections: Discover and explore 630+ curated collections of AI prompts organized by theme, style, and use case. Collections are maintained by MoonLane.
• Following: Follow other creators to see their latest uploads in your personalized feed.
• Saved & Liked Prompts: Bookmark prompts to your personal Saved library and Like prompts to show appreciation and help surface trending content.
• Comments: Engage with the community by leaving comments on prompts. Emoji reactions are supported.
• Search: Search across all prompts using keywords, categories, models, and styles.
• User Profiles: View and manage your public profile, which displays your uploaded prompts and follower stats.
• Copy & Share: Copy prompt text to your clipboard or share prompt links with others.
• Theme Toggle: Switch between Light and Dark mode for your preferred viewing experience.

5. Community Guidelines & Conduct

MoonLane is built for a respectful and creative community. When using any feature of the platform (including uploading prompts, commenting, or interacting with others), you agree to:

• Submit content that is accurately categorized (Image, Video, Website, or Component) and properly tagged with the correct AI model and style.
• Ensure all uploaded prompts and example outputs are appropriate for a general creative audience.
• Refrain from posting hate speech, harassment, explicit adult content, spam, misleading information, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.
• Not impersonate other users, public figures, or MoonLane staff.
• Not use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with MoonLane without prior written consent.
• Be respectful in comments and community interactions.

MoonLane reserves the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these guidelines, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

"Your Content" refers to the AI prompts, example images or videos, comments, profile information, and any other material you submit to MoonLane.

• You retain ownership of the original prompts and content you create and upload.
• By posting Your Content on MoonLane, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and irrevocable license to display, reproduce, distribute, and promote Your Content on the platform and in connection with MoonLane's marketing efforts.
• You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload, and that doing so does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• AI-generated outputs you share (e.g., images, videos, website screenshots) must comply with the terms of service of the AI tools used to generate them (e.g., OpenAI, Midjourney, Google, Anthropic, xAI).

7. Trending, Sorting & Discovery

MoonLane uses Like counts and engagement data to surface Trending prompts and personalize content discovery. We do not guarantee any specific visibility for any uploaded prompt. Content recommendations are based on algorithmic signals and may change over time.

8. Third-Party Integrations & Infrastructure

Our platform is powered by trusted infrastructure partners, including MilesWeb for hosting and data storage. Your use of MoonLane constitutes agreement that we may rely on these third-party providers. MoonLane is not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Certain AI model icons and references (e.g., Midjourney, OpenAI GPT Image, Google Veo, Anthropic Claude, xAI Grok) are trademarks of their respective owners. MoonLane's reference to these tools does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

9. Admin & Content Moderation

Designated administrators have the ability to create, edit, and remove prompts and manage user content across the platform. Admin actions are taken to maintain quality, safety, and compliance with these Terms. If you believe your content was incorrectly removed, you may contact us via the Contact page.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

MoonLane is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoonLane and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform or its content.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MoonLane after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
